This demands sustained, long-term productivity improvement through building human capital \nand adopting improved technologies. But it also means ensuring that all Kenyans participate in this process both as a means and also as an end in itself. We don't just need growth, we need growth which is inclusive. When we look at the myriad ways in which finance influences the development of the economy and people's livelihoods, it is clear that if growth is to be inclusive then so must finance. What this means in practical terms is not as obvious as it might first seem.","time_periods":[{"start":"2019","end":"2019","cycle":""}],"coll_dates":[{"start":"2019","end":"2019","cycle":""}],"nation":[{"name":"KENYA","abbreviation":"KEN"}],"geog_coverage":"National","analysis_unit":"Household and individuals","universe":"All sampled household in Kenya"},"method":{"data_collection":{"time_method":"2019","data_collectors":[{"name":"Kenya National Bureau of Statistic","abbreviation":"KNBS","affiliation":"State Department of Planning"}],"sampling_procedure":"FinAccess targets individuals aged 16 years and above, with households drawn from the fifth National Sample Survey and Evaluation Programme (NASSEP V) household sampling frame.
