It has 3 main livelihood zones; Pastoral, Agro-pastoral and Firewood\/Formal employment representing 67%, 26% and 7% respectively1. It consists of 3 Sub-counties namely Isiolo, Garbatulla and Merti. The nutrition survey was conducted between 9th and 15th February, 2018. The Standardized Monitoring and Assessment in Relief and Transitions (SMART) methodology was used during the anthropometric survey in planning, training, data collection and analysis.
