Unemployed includes those without regular employment but who were available for work in hte past 12 months. An employer is a person who operates his own economic activity with or withour partners, with the regular assistance of one or more regular employees. Regular employees are persons with or without a contract of employment continously employed for a period of one month or more. Casual employees are persons continously employed for less than a month. Employees are either skilled if they have acquired a specific speciality through education, training or professional experience. Own account worker is a person who operates his or her own economic activity with or withour partners without the assistance of regular employees. The person may use unpaid family workers or casual employees. Unpaid family worker / homemaker is a member of a household who works without any payment, wage or salary. This includes housewives, unpaid domestic servants, older childrena at home e.t.c. Student apprentice includes all those at school or undertaking study / training as a main activity. Pensioner / Investor is the member receiving a pension (from the government or a private source) or receives rent, interests or dividends from his / her own capital investments such as money, monetary instruments (stocks, bonds e.t.c.). real estate (houses / land). Sick / Handicapped includes other persons unable because of illness or disability to work.
